What a scorcher in the garden today, not that it stopped the visitors having fun. Lots of happy children rolling down the banking and playing on the slide, playground and musical instruments.

Busy, busy day trying to get the garden looking as fab as possible ready for the NGS day at the weekend, Don’t forget tea and cakes in the garden and plants for sale too! If only it wasn’t quite so hot, the flowers in the garden would last longer for us to enjoy!

Don’t forget we are pick pick pick picking in the potager veg garden at the minute! Outside the gardeners cottage are broad beans, courgettes and lots of Purple Teepee French Bean with gorgeous almost black pods – yummy!
