Here at the Ty Glyn Davis Trust’s walled garden we are looking for volunteers. Don’t stop reading now please, imagining hours of double digging in the rain! A volunteer for our Trust does not even need to garden, we are looking for all sorts of different skills.
We need people who are:
Internet friendly and would be able to search for grants and funding possibilities to keep the garden going and pay for garden improvements.
Like doing light gardening work such as deadheading, staking, tying in plants, harvesting produce.
Would like to learn how to propagate and grow on plants for both renewing planting in the garden and plant sales.
Have DIY skills such as painting, repairing fencing or even having a good bonfire.
Volunteers are currently welcome Wednesdays or Mondays. You don’t need to put in a 12 hour day, just a few hours help is always welcome.
What do you the volunteer get out of it?
You will learn new skills, make new friends and you get to work in a beautiful, peaceful environment, what more could you want!
Email us for more details or if you want to come and have a go and see if you like it.
