We will be up and running tomorrow again as usual though. We are losing a self-set sycamore with an enormous hole in the base of it, no pruning could save this tree.

Continue reading >>Well after a huge effort we are making some progress with our winter jobs list, if not quite as quickly as we would have liked! The soft fruit is now pruned and we are well into winter pruning on the apple orchard. If we could just get a non windy day we would be up the ladder doing the tops of them!
Continue reading >>Can’t quite decide about August, some glorious days, but quite a lot of the wet stuff too! Still at least it meant less watering and the ability to work the ground up on the terrace beds occasionally as they weren’t like concrete all summer.
